I Love Techno presents -in its finest tradition- the best electronic music from tomorrow and today. This year, Europe’s biggest indoor dance event takes place on Saturday November 15th in Flanders Expo Gent, Belgium. An evening and night of partying along with 35,000 electronic music lovers, coming from al over the world. In every way, I Love Techno is a melting pot of different people and colours. Techno music is the heartbeat of the festival, but there’s also a great attention for new trends & other genres. Again, the 5 different rooms will be packed with live acts and DJs, both upcoming talents and well known artists.

Underworld is this year’s uncontested headliner. They promise to make up big for cancelling previous edition. This British dance duo is one of the biggest names in the dance-scene as we know it today. At Rock Werchter, they proved still being one of the best live acts in the genre. Co-headlining is Boys Noize, 2007’s revelation and only growing stronger ever since. Pioneer Richie Hawtin will also be present in Gent again, this time together with his M_nus colleagues Audion and Heartthrob for a special new project. From Germany and presenting their new album “The Sun & The Neon Light” please welcome Booka Shade.

Digitalism, from Germany as well, released their new mix album on Kitsuné and will demonstrate us their excellent mixing skills. I Love Techno likes to put new talents in the spotlights: Sebastian is the next big thing and plays alongside his Ed Banger label boss Busy P, while Crookers are today’s hottest remixers.

Veteran Robert Hood, Umek and DJ Murphy handle the techno beats while the furious Brazilian Pet Duo are growing to become hard techno masters. Being regular guests, they will nevertheless visit I Love Techno for the first time with a live set.

An I Love Techno ticket costs 45 euro (ex. fee) in presale. Tickets are available online as from today. The first 500 e-ticket reservations at www.ilovetechno.be will receive a free I Love Techno compilation album. Note that there’s only one album per person and per reservation.

Slipknot-All Hope Is Gone

All Hope Is Gone is the fourth studio album by American metal band Slipknot. It is scheduled for release as early as August 20, 2008, by Roadrunner Records. A special edition of the album will contain three exclusive bonus tracks, and will be packaged in a six-fold digipak with a 40-page deluxe booklet and bonus DVD containing a documentary of the album's conception.

Noted to have begun preparation in 2007, recording was due to begin in January 2008, but was pushed back to February. It will be the band's first studio release since 2004's Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses), making All Hope Is Gone their fourth studio album as well as the first musical output from the band since Corey Taylor and Jim Root's mainstream success with Stone Sour, Joey Jordison's stints with Korn, Ministry and 3 Inches of Blood, Shawn Crahan's side project Dirty Little Rabbits and Sid Wilson's solo project. All Hope Is Gone is also the band's first studio album on a major label to be recorded in their home state of Iowa.
